TABORE PRARTHANALAYAM

At the entrance of this Tabore house there is a smiling statue of ‘Mother of Tabore’ who blesses everyone who enters to this house and remains as a sure shelter of God Experience for them. This retreat center enjoys the special protection and constant help from the ‘Blessed Virgin Mary’, the Mother of God.

The plan of this Grotto of miraculous ‘Mother’ was given in a vision on 26 th November 1990 to Mookanthottathil Kunjettan who was one of the first leading members of the Charismatic renewal and Gospel preaching. The Grotto was built according to the instructions received in the vision. The three pillars symbolize ‘Holy Trinity’ and the 15 feet high from the ground shows the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary. The foundation stone was laid on 6 th January 1991. It was built according to the plan and date given by Holy Mother and was blessed on 25 th March. From then onwards there were many blessings received through the intercession of Mother Mary. Every year we celebrate the Grotto Thirunnal on the same date very solemnly.

Besides this miraculous Grotto of Tabore Amma, two other Grottos –one of St.Joseph in the courtyard, another of St.Chavara Kuriakose Elia near to the gate were built. Many people used to come and pray in front of the saints.
