The book of Isaiah chapter 55 veres 10 and 11 say that"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven: and do not return to it without watering the earth and make it bud and flourish,so that it yeilds seed for the sower and bread for the eater,so is my word that goes out from my mouth.It will not return to me empty but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.Here God compares His word to the rain and snow because it orginates with Him in the heavens and falls upon us to refresh.grow and feed our souls........., The word of God is life and spirit.As We see in John 6:63 "the words I have spoken to you are Spirit and they are life".We have to consume the word of god... receive it in our hearts and soul-to allow it to affect our lives. The holy spirit lives within us to make his words come,"alive"....... In the book of Mathew chapter 4 verse 4 tells us that we live by the word of god."man shall not live on bread alone , but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. The prophet Jeremiah says in his book chapter 15:16,"your words became my joy and my hearts delight". Thus gods word feeds our spirit. The psalmist compares them to honey."how sweet are your words to my taste sweeter than honey to my mouth I gain understanding from your precepts. (PS.119:103-104a)..... The prayer that comes from faith will heal the sick for the lord will restore them to health. And if they have Sinned. They will be forgiven. Now let us remember Acts 8:7"with loud shrieks unclean spirits came out of many people and many who were paralyzed or crippled were healed...... If you look to God you will find he is always the to answer you if you have faith in his power he will guide and protect you from any troubles that may plague you...... No one is beyond the grace of God. Therefore a pure soul is one that not only wishes wellness on himself but on others...... As a conclusion of this topic let us pray with the Psalmist (ps6:2)"have mercy on me lord. because I am frail, heal me lord, because my bones are shaking in terror".
